Reggie Bush Jersey - New Orleans Saints Player

J-Jerseys Admin | NFL | Thursday, December 27th, 2007

Freakishly quick & agile, the New Orleans Saints’ Reggie Bush is a rare NFL running back.  He reminds a lot of NFL fans of Barry Sanders, but until Bush proves he can handle the workload in New Orleans, he’ll still just be “Reggie Bush”.  With the Saints primary running back, Deuce McAllister injured, Bush had to step up this year in an attempt to carry the load.  He was doing an admirable job until he partially tore his posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

In addition to the stress of being a high NFL draft pick, Reggie has also challenged the NFL odds that his skills would translate to the professional game.  It’s one thing to exceed in NCAA football, but the NFL is a whole other ballgame.

Bush created quite a following while playing college football for USC, where he won several national championships and the 2005 Heisman Award as a Trojan.  Reggie’s electrifying plays and acrobatic moves delighted the nation for a number of years, but he is now in danger of losing his Heisman, since he accepted money and benefits while playing.  The verdict is still out on exactly what ramifications that Reggie will face because of his actions.

Despite all that is going on negatively, the Reggie Bush jersey is still one of the top selling NFL jerseys this year (& last year).  Below, we’ve got a full selection of Bush jerseys (authentic, replica, signed, etc) - heck, there are even pink jerseys for the ladies:

Patriots Sitting at 15-0, Thanks to Tom Brady & Co.

J-Jerseys Admin | NFL | Sunday, December 23rd, 2007

The New England Patriots are on the verge of completing the unthinkable… going undefeated in the regular season and tying the 1972 Miami Dolphins.

Facing the Miami Dolphins (ironically) in week 16, the Patriots jumped out to a large lead and coasted to their 15th straight win.  Their final game, next weekend, will be in New York against the Giants.  This is hardly a gimme, but the Patriots will be the favorites.  The only question will be whether or not coach Belichick sits his regulars in the regular season finale.

With the team coasting into the playoffs, it would be stupid to risk injury to your star players.  However, quarterback Tom Brady is on the verge of setting a new single season NFL record for touchdown passed - he’s currently at 48 TD passes, only 1 behind the record held by the Colts’ Peyton Manning.  Wide receiver Randy Moss is also on the verge of breaking the record for most touchdown receptions - he trails the legendary Jerry Rice by 1 touchdown heading into the final game.

Before we get into all the records that New England has already broken this year, take a look at the most popular Patriots jerseys below:

Ok, sorry… here are the NFL records that the New England Patriots have tied or broken already this year:

  • NFL record for most touchdowns in a season
  • Highest regular season point differential
  • First team to start season w/ 15 straight wins
  • Tied record for most regular season wins
  • Brady-to-Moss most pass/catch TD combo in single season

The Patriots have exceeded all expectations this year and they’re doing it in a record setting style.  Give praise to Belichick, his staff, and the players on the team for putting together such a remarkable run.  Whether you like New England’s team (or coach) is irrelevant… this is history baby!

Kevin Garnett Jersey - Boston Celtics Player

J-Jerseys Admin | NBA | Sunday, December 23rd, 2007

Kevin Garnett jersey - Boston CelticsWith a strong tradition of winning, the Boston Celtics have been looking to return to the NBA’s elite the last few years.  Unfortunately, the moves made by GM Danny Ainge have been less than stellar - that is, until this past summer.

Ainge orchestrated two mind-blowing trades that now have the Celtics perched atop the league at 21-3, easily the best record in the NBA. Ainge’s first move was picking Ray Allen from the Sonics.  The move gave the Celtics two great all-around players & shooters in Allen and Paul Pierce.

While many would’ve stopped there, Ainge went a step further and traded nearly everyone but Allen & Pierce to the Minnesota Timberwolves for superstar forward Kevin Garnett.

While the dynamic duo of Allen/Pierce is certainly spectacular, it’s been Kevin Garnett’s hustle and strong determination to win that has turned the Celtics completely around from last year’s losing season.

Garnett’s defense, leadership and unselfish play are key to the Celtics - Garnett isn’t option #1 on the team, and I think that’s just fine with him.  He has two capable late-game shooters to rely on and a decent supporting cast (Rondo, Posey, Davis).

Garnett is easily the league’s most interesting player this year - his Boston Celtics jersey ranks among the NBA’s top selling items this year.  The season is still young, so you still have plenty of time to jump on the bandwagon and pickup your Kevin Garnett jersey. Available in green or white, and several variations of each, it won’t take you long to find the Kevin Garnett jersey that matches your style.

Tony Romo Jersey - Dallas Cowboys Player

J-Jerseys Admin | NFL | Wednesday, December 19th, 2007

Second year Dallas Cowboys quarterback and league darling, Tony Romo, has been making headlines lately for his relationship w/ singer Jessica Simpson.  Cowboys players and others in the locker room have apparently been questioning where Romo’s focus is - on the team or on Simpson.  Throughout their latest game, a loss to the hated Eagles, Jessica Simpson was shown wearing a pink Tony Romo jersey in a suite at the stadium.

With his new girlfriend in attendance, Tony proceeded to have the worst game (statistically) of his career.  He had a similarly horrible game the last time his girlfriend, then Carrie Underwood, attended a game in person.

Despite the one-game lapse, Tony Romo is still one of the best quarterbacks in the league and is sure to lead his team to at least the second round of the NFL playoffs, if not all the way to the Super Bowl.

If you support the Cowboys or Tony Romo and you don’t have a jersey yet, we’ve found a full selection of Tony Romo jerseys for you below:

All About NFL Merchandise Jerseys

J-Jerseys Admin | Uncategorized | Saturday, December 15th, 2007

Millions of young football fans cherish the idea of wearing the NFL clothing representing  their favorite National Football League team. What keeps many from that dream is the price. Some NFL merchandise is pricey, particularly good quality jerseys. Many are being sold for hundreds of dollars, and the higher the quality, or rarer the item, the higher the price. Of course, there are cheap knockoffs of authentic NFL merchandise, however most young football fans will tell you quickly that these simply aren’t what they want. They want clothing that looks good, and something close to a real NFL jersey. The NFL brand carries a lot of weight with them.

Of course some NFL jerseys sold in retail outlets or online aren’t the real thing. If you’ve seen a real NFL jersey hanging on a wall in a football pub, you know how huge they are. Two people can fit comfortably into them. The jerseys were design for large men wearing even larger shoulder pads. Only the quarterbacks and kickers have shoulder pads that are comparatively smaller than the well padded ones that linebackers wear.

For small children however, a real NFL jersey is too heavy with designs that are too detailed for the child to appreciate. Kids like it simple and comfortable and they won’t appreciate an authentic NFL jersey so there’s no point in wasting money on it. A kids jersey needs to be made of a softer material with stitching that won’t cause itching and chafing. You can buy authentic NFL kids clothing online at an NFL shop. Many people buying sports jerseys or receiving them as Christmas gifts discover that they’re perhaps made for pickup football at the local park and not as casual wear.

Many NFL jerseys are purchased as collector’s items. An authentic team jersey signed by a well known National Football League star can fetch a good price at auction.  Most recently, throw back jerseys have become popular. These have the designs, colors and team logos from year’s long past. You may even have throwback jerseys signed by former popular players like John Riggins, Jim Marshall, Dwight Clarke, Terry Bradshaw, Jerry Rice, Walter Payton, Ken Stabler, Fran Tarkenton, and even coaches such as Mike Ditka.

NFL Merchandise is a very popular Christmas gift item. Sports fans appreciate these collectibles, particularly those that are unique. Sports Bars often lacking in decor ideas, are perfect locations for framed football jerseys. Nothing makes a better statement for your sports bar than the appearance of a signed NFL jersey up on the wall. You might want to have a jersey handy and ask a pro player to pay your bar a visit. Have them sign the Jersey. Then you’ve got a collectible that can impress your football fan patrons.

Baseball Caps for Football Fans
Another in-demand type of NFL merchandise is baseball caps with the various team NFL logos on them. It’s probably the least expensive way to adorn yourself with an NFL branded logo. Some merchandise manufacturers make NFL caps that have a rubber fan face built into it. Besides being a fun way to show you’re fan fanatic, it might help keep you warm on cold game days in these coming months.

For the rabid NFL or college football fan, an impressive Christmas gift is a headwig, or rubber fan face for wearing at parties or the game. And the price of this fanwear is great. For less than twenty dollars, you have some authentic NFL merchandise with the fan’s favorite colors and logo on it. Other items carried at an NFL shop are oversized inflatable footballs. These are a lot of fun for backyard play and take a lot of the seriousness out of the game. You can never have too much fun. For your car, you might want to block the Sun’s UV rays from your kids in the backseat. It doesn’t hurt to have a Steelers logo, or Jets logo, or Raider’s logo on it as well. Show your team pride.

The most popular teams for fan merchandise aren’t always what you’d expect. Fans in certain cities are very loyalty and spirited and they are more likely to get into the culture of football and adorn themselves with NFL branded clothing. Some of the more highly sought team merchandise is that of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Merchandise sales for the Steelers rose strongly after their recent win at the Superbowl.

Other teams that sell a lot of NFL merchandise are the Seattle Seahawks, Oakland Raiders, New York Jets, Chicago Bears, Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers. To find an NFL teams merchandise check online via Google or Yahoo. You’ll find Chicago Bears Merchandise available at NFL.com or via the Bears official web site, and there are other NFL shops that offer official Chicago Bears merchandise. From collectibles to wearables, there are plenty of gift ideas for Christmas 2006. Stats show that fan interest in NFL football has continued to climb. Attendance at actual NFL games has risen and more games are shown on TV. That means fan-related items such as caps, fan faces, and headwigs are going to be present at all the games. Share the spirit this year with a visit to an NFL shop online.

Randy Moss Jersey - New England Patriots Player

J-Jerseys Admin | NFL | Wednesday, December 12th, 2007

Former superstar and sometimes bad boy Randy Moss appears to have turned the corner since joining the no-nonsense New England Patriots.  After breaking into the league as a cocky wide receiver from Marshall, Moss has struggled to maintain his image and the way the league’s players and coaches see him.  It’s only one season, but Moss and quarterback Tom Brady are tearing up the record books and leading the Patriots into the playoffs as Super Bowl favorites.  Randy appears happy and is helping the team win, something that you can’t really say about his time in Oakland.

As the NFL playoffs near, the time to get your Randy Moss jersey is now (before they win the championship).  Show your support for the Patriots by picking up a Moss jersey and wearing it proudly:

Atlanta Falcons in Disarray - No Michael Vick, Now No Coach

J-Jerseys Admin | NFL | Wednesday, December 12th, 2007

The season started with a lot of hope & promise for the Falcons, including a new offense geared towards quarterback Michael Vick’s talents - hint: it’s not throwing.  Bobby Petrino was brought in from Louisville, where he’d been extremely successful.

Before the season was underway though, things got messed up. Vick was accused of being involved with dog fighting - he denied it.  After investigators found more evidence, Vick could no longer deny it and finally fessed up to being involved.  This week, Vick learned his punishment for the crime - 23 months in prison.  Two full years (nearly) in prison for being involved w/ dog fighting… how many days did Paris Hilton get for her DUI(s)?  Which is worse?

Without Michael Vick, the Falcons plain sucked.  They’ve gone through 3 quarterbacks and have only won 3 games all year.  The pressure to win, despite not having his best player, finally got to Petrino, and on Tuesday he bolted Atlanta for another college coaching job - this time at Arkansas.

You have to feel for the Falcons’ players and staff - they’ve just been stabbed in the back.  You don’t leave your team w/ 3 games left - you finish it out.  Is it tough? Sure… Is it hell? Maybe… But you’re getting paid close to $5 million per year to deal w/ it, so GET OVER IT!

These two incidents have left the Atlanta Falcons in shambles.  They will be able to rebound and turn this into a positive, but it could take a year or two before everything turns around.

Jason Kidd Unhappy? Play On Fool…

J-Jerseys Admin | NBA | Friday, December 7th, 2007

The New Jersey Nets have reportedly offered super PG Jason Kidd a 2-year contract extension, but the fact that they wouldn’t extend it to 3 years may have sparked a fire under Kidd.  He sat out Wednesday’s game with a “migraine” and claims that he wasn’t sending a message to anyone, including Nets’ managment.  The rumor mill says otherwise…

While you have to give Jason Kidd the benefit of the doubt here, it’s sad to see how easily a player can force a team to move him if he’s unhappy.  Players sign contracts to play the one of the greatest games on the planet and the get paid handsomely for it.  It’s a game… if you don’t like the team you’re on, don’t sign a contract with them when it’s time to renew - go somewhere else.  Wherever you go - you’re stuck there, because that’s what you chose to do.  Team owners should have the right to quit paying players who “tank it” (a la Vince Carter) or force the teams’ hand when it comes to trading them.  Suspend the guy and quit paying him… he’ll be back on the court in no time.

Jason played on Friday night, but just about everyone is saying how unhappy he is (except him).  If New Jersey continues to struggle, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him moved before the trade deadline.

Whether Kidd ends up staying or leaving the Nets, you can still get a Jason Kidd jersey above.

Not Guilty? Barry Bonds Pleads in Court Today

J-Jerseys Admin | MLB | Friday, December 7th, 2007

Home run champ and hated teammate Barry Bonds appeared in court Friday to plead “not guilty” to 4 counts of perjury and an obstruction of justice charge.  All charges stem from Bonds testimony against a grand-jury about his ties to steriod usage in MLB.  It was the first time in about 3 weeks that Barry has made a public appearance.  No trial date has been set, but rumors put it after the upcoming baseball season or even in 2009.

Barry Bonds has denied all involvement from day 1, so it’s really no surprise to see him do the same in court.  It’s still not 100% clear whether Bonds is telling the truth, however, due simply to his heavy involvement w/ BALCO and Conte, it’s founder.

The legal defense for Bonds claims there are errors or unclear information in the charges - they’re trying to get the case dismissed altogether.  However this ends, you just hope that we get to hear the truth at some point…

J-Jerseys Admin | NFL | Wednesday, December 5th, 2007

One of the hottest running backs in the NFL right now, rookie Adrian Peterson is tearing up the record books for the Minnesota Vikings.
