Team won’t revive discussions on a long-term extension for the outfielder, who could leave next fall. The Angels have tabled contract negotiations with Vladimir Guerrero, raising the possibility that the star outfielder could leave the team as a free agent next fall.

Vladimir Guerrero is a stud, for sure, but he’s not been able to get the Angels anywhere in the postseason, so they definitely need to explore other options (Manny… ahem).
Guerrero is going to demand money similar to what Manny Ramirez will be getting from the highest bidder, but Vlad hasn’t shown enough to deserve it IMHO.
