Carlos Zambrano pitched the first no-hitter for the Chicago Cubs in 36 years, returning from a sore rotator cuff to shut down the Houston Astros, 5-0, Sunday night in a game relocated because of Hurricane Ike.

Wow, what a comeback performance for the Chicago Cubs’ Carlos Zambrano, who pitches a no-no (hitter) in his first game back after a troublesome rotator cuff injury. Not only does he make his first appearance after missing several games during this postseason stretch, but he does it in miraculous fashion by throwing a no-hitter.

I like the Cubs chances going forward to the World Series, but pitching health will definitely be a concern throughout. If they can stay healthy and pitch the way they have all season, I don’t see any team that can stop them.
