Denver Broncos Will Not Trade Jay Cutler – Ya, Right…

Denver Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels, who plans to meet with Jay Cutler sometime next week, told NFL Network’s Adam Schefter that the disgruntled Pro Bowl quarterback will not be traded despite rampant rumors.   Continue reading on NFL.com

Seems like we’ve heard these types of statements before from head coaches and team executives, only to see the trade happen later on.  In this case, the Denver Broncos have put themselves in a precarious position by even offering up their Pro Bowl quarterback, Jay Cutler, in trade talks w/ other teams.  Clearly, new head coach Josh McDaniels did not have faith and/or a want to use Cutler in his offense.

The first blow has taken place… it will be interesting to see how this plays out in Denver.
