The Packers continue to lose leverage as more time passes and the pressure mounts to trade Brett Favre.  It’s clear that they are not willing to release him, so trading him is the lone solution, since they are also working to keep him from attending training camp & disrupting the entire team.

Several teams have been rumored as trade destinations, but nothing has developed as of yet.  The potential trade partners include: Bucs, Jets, Vikings & Bears.  Considering that it’s Brett Favre, I think just about any team would be willing to get him (e.g. Dolphins, Cardinals, Ravens, etc.).

If the Packers are unable to reach a trade or other solution by Monday, Goodell will get involved and force the issue even further.  At this point, I think that the Packers coming out of this w/ 2 draft picks (4th round or better) would be considered an adequate deal.
