Cowboys’ Adam Jones Suspended Indefinitely by NFL – 4 Games Minimum
Fresh off the Dallas Cowboys 2nd loss in as many games, the NFL has suspended cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones indefinitely, which apparently translates to a minimum of 4 games. Jones was used extensively in the last few games, including on punt returns, so his loss hurts an already weak secondary unit.
Prior to Sunday’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals, Dallas’ owner Jerry Jones insisted his player committed no offenses and should be allowed to play. Less than 48 hrs after the incident, however, Jones was siding w/ the NFL Commissioner insisting that Adam Jones screwed up and needed to be accountable.

In other Cowboys news, the team traded the Detroit Lions for former University of Texas star Roy Williams to tidy up the wide receiving core. Williams is known as somewhat of a slouch, so it will be interesting to see how he fits into the mix in Dallas. He certainly gives them another threat to compliment Terrell Owens.
