Rushing your franchise quarterback from an injury is surely not the answer for the Cowboys, but if he’s healthy enough to play, why not let him?  Screw TO altogether – if Romo gives the team a better chance to win, and he does, he should play if he’s able to.  Brad Johnson is no slouch and could handle the QB duties w/out any problems.  I’m even confident that he could keep Owens happy on offense too if needed.

Rumors are also flying that wide receiver Roy Williams was acquired from the Detroit Lions as insurance in case Owens goes awol on Dallas.  Certainly, Williams could step up and fill the void left by TO if that were to happen.
