The Oakland Raiders, fresh off a drubbing from the Atlanta Falcons, move forward w/ a cost-cutting restructuring move midway through the 2008-09 season by cutting cornerback DeAngelo Hall.  The CB, who has played horribly to start the season, was just signed this past offseason and was provided w/ ample guaranteed money from Al Davis & Co.  Ironically, Hall was previously w/ the Falcons…

I believe that DeAngelo Hall will be picked up by another team at a much reduced salary, especially considering he’s already collected his guaranteed money from the Raiders.  Hall will likely have to play for a new contract, however, since he hasn’t proved to be an effective player to-date this year.
