Its not too often that a player declares himself eligible to play before the coaching staff does, but that’s exactly what the St. Louis Rams’ Stephen Jackson did on Saturday.  On his website, SJ39.com, Jackson says his leg is strong enough to play against the Arizona Cardinals today (Sunday).

Good news for fantasy football owners, although this owner is electing to sit him anyway.  Hopefully that strategy will pay off at the end of the day.  If you don’t have any other starting RBs on your team, you would probably start Jackson, but I would look elsewhere for this week.
