Baltimore Ravens Defense Leads to Wild-Card Victory Over Dolpins

Despite entering Sunday’s game w/ a rookie head coach and quarterback, the Baltimore Ravens dominated the Miami Dolphins in their wild-card match-up.  The Ravens defense was outstanding against Chad Pennington, forcing 4 interceptions, including one by Ed Reed that he took in for a touchdown.  The Dolphins “wildcat” offense was a virtual no-show, with Baltimore stuffing them on each attempt.

Baltimore will now face the #1 seed in the Tennessee Titans, but Baltimore is hardly an underdog entering the game.  Both teams are similar in that they have a dominating defense and strong running game.  Where they differ, is in the head coaching experience and quarterback, with veteran Kerry Collins (TEN) going up against Joe Flacco (BAL).
