Steelers’ Ben Roethlisberger Expected to Play Despite Shoulder Sprain
Football News from NFL.com
Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin clarified the status of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger’s shoulder: sprained but not separated.
The Steelers are cruising so far in the suddenly week AFC (where are you Patriots, Browns & Chargers?), so I see no reason for the Steelers to risk further injury to Ben Roethlisberger by playing him in Week 3 of the young NFL season. Give the guy a break and let him rest up - the team is solid all-around, and while he will be missed at QB, other players should be able to step up & deliver a win.
